This UNESCO World Heritage site brings together religious, residential and defensive remains from different periods. We want to approach that layered history carefully, using reliable sources and checking current access and filming rules.

The route is also intended to consider people living in Kars today. A shop’s history, an everyday habit or someone’s relationship with their work may reveal another side of the city. Describe what moves you about a potential contributor’s story and whether they wish to share it.
