The planned Erzincan episode begins with a question: how do roads and geography shape everyday life? Valleys and settlements may provide more than scenic images when considered together. The exact stops remain undecided and will depend on access, season and local knowledge.
People and cultural context
Kemaliye’s traditional houses and distinctive urban fabric are of particular interest. A sloping street, timber detail or relationship between homes and landscape can guide observation. Visiting a town does not mean having permission to enter people’s private spaces; any filming must respect residents and agreed access.
Planning with care
A craftsperson, producer or encounter along the road could become the centre of the story. We are interested in the knowledge and patience behind work that may seem ordinary. Explain a potential contributor’s experience and whether they are open to contact, without promising an interview on their behalf.
