How does this method work?
Collect viewer's unresolved questions instead of random popular headlines to come up with video ideas. Comments, challenges in one's own experience, and explanations missing from previous videos are good starts. When evaluating an idea, consider curiosity, original access and production possibilities together. A very interesting but unsustainable idea may not be suitable for a short-term release plan.
Evaluation with a concrete example
For a travel channel, instead of 'the most beautiful places', generate concrete questions such as 'the route that can be done without missing the last bus', 'the track that changes in the rain' or 'the local master telling about his own neighbourhood'. Do not consider different titles of the same idea as separate video ideas. For each suggestion, write down the new information the audience will receive and the scene that will show it; thus the list becomes truly producible.
